About the Owner

Shirley Turner is president and founder of Black Lab Marketing LLC. She is well-respected throughout the industry for her forthrightness on channel issues and trends and her high regard for the reseller. Formerly with Intel for 24 years, she held numerous positions during her tenure ranging from finance to operations to marketing. She last held the position of Director of North American Channel Marketing, where she was responsible for all channel marketing strategy and program activities for distributors, system builders, integrators and value-add resellers.  Since leaving Intel, Shirley has continued to focus on the same type of customers she served at Intel – small to medium business owners in need of help with marketing for brand awareness and lead generation to grow their business.

In this capacity, she manages a large base of volunteers and oversees all operations, including staffing, training, child placement, fundraising, finances and budgeting. In addition, she serves on the national Camp Cabinet for Royal Family Kids’ Camps, Inc. She also serves with Chehalem Youth & Family Services as a vice-chairperson for the Friends of Chehalem House board, a non-profit that provides housing and services for emotionally-challenged teens and families.
